How should I send my music?

To ensure the best possible outcome when preparing your music for a hand-cut record, please follow these guidelines:

File Format and Bit Depth:

Provide your music as a .WAV file with a 24-bit depth. This will ensure the highest sound quality and preserve the nuances of your audio without unnecessary compression artifacts.

Headroom and Dynamics:

Ideally, submit a premaster or a mix with headroom. This means there should be enough dynamic range to allow for proper mastering adjustments without distortion. Avoid heavy compression or a limiter that could squash the dynamic range. Ideally you should send it with -6db of headroom.
